When using this tube plz always add ©Wenke.
Thank you Wenke for putting down all the time and
effort in making these images for me ! @-}}--

Install the tube!!!

Open up a new image 500*500 pixels with a transparent background.
Select your preset shapes tool and set to these settings.

Make the first shape 240*240.
Then go effects/ plugins/ factory filter B/ cutglass
Add with the standard settings ie the ones that are there already.
Now go to colour/ colourize, set Hue to 255 and saturation 190.

Now duplicate this layer and then go to image/ rotate and rotate 30 to the left.
Duplicate this layer and rotate 30 to the left.
Then go to layers/ merge / merge visible. You should now have something like this...

Duplicate this layer and then go to image/ resize and resize with 75% of origin.
Duplicate the resized layer and once again resize with 75%. Now use
the mover tool to move the "suns" in position. Like so.

Merge visible again then go to effects/ 3d effects/ drop shadow and
add a drop shadow with these settings : vertical= 1 Horizontal= -1
Opacity: 100% and blur: 8

Duplicate this layer. After that go to effects/blur / gaussian blur and
add with a radius of 15. Then go to effects/ artistic effects/ contours
add with these settings...

Move this layer to the bottom (layers/ arrange/ send to bottom)

Now the background is done it's time to add the tube, so add a new
raster layer (layers/ new raster layer)
Then select the picture tube tool and add the tube with a scale of 70 %
Place her so as she's sitting on the bottom of the big sun.
Add a new raster layer.

Select the text tool and add text with the following settings...

Now add the same cut glass effect on the text as on the sun, you will notice
that it looks a bit different and that is ok.
Then go to color/ colourize and
add the same colour as before. Now go to effects/ 3d effects / inner bevel and
add with these settings...

Place the text where you want it then add the same drop shadow as before, deselect.
Now you should have something similar to this...

It's close to what we want but we still got one small thing left to do.
Select the selection tool and then highlight the layer with the girl on
Click the image once, press down ctrl + A then press the image again.
You have now got the marching ants around the tube.

Now to the trick...
Go to selections/ modify / contract and contract with 2 pixels.
Now whilst the tube is still selected highlight the text layer.
Select the eraser tool and erase. Now when erasing you will notice that the
only area that's getting erased is the area inside the selection.
This makes it much easier than trying to erase on freehand.

Before deselecting highlight the tube layer again,
then add the same dropshadow as you used before.

Deselect then merge visible.
Now use the crop tool and crop the picture to a suitable size.
Save as .jpg and you are done !

I hope you had fun !
Happy psping!
