For this tutorial you will need:
Psp 7

The following material or tube font of your own choice.

This tube ... Flare tube

This tube ... Girl tube
I drew this tube by hand... I allow you all to use it as you wish
aslong as the watermark stays intact.

This mask ... Mask
I made this mask and it may be used as you wish to use it.

And finally this font...
Elvish font


Install the font and the tubes! Save the mask in a folder called masks.

Open up a new image 400*400 pixels with a transparent background.
Pick a gradient you like or make a new one.

Flood fill the image with your gradient.
Now go to masks/ load from disk. Browse till you find the folder masks folder
and pic the mask you downloaded, click ok.
You should have something similar to this now...



Now add a new raster layer (layers/new raster layer).
Add the girl tube on the new layer. Drag the layer opacity down to 35.



Now go to preset tools and make sure you have antialias and create as vector ticked.
Draw a circle the size 165*165.
Place it right over the girls face, now add a new raster layer.
Select the text tool, drag the mouse over the image till you get this tool



When you got that click the image.
When applying the text use the following settings...



Don't deselect the text. Go to effects/3d effects/drop shadow.
use these settings...



note that the colour is grey!

Now delete the vector layer.
you should now have something similar to this...



Now add a new layer and add the flares where you want them.
Save as .Jpg and you are done!
