Fish tutorial made by Nemesis

For this tutorial you will be needing:
psp 7
eyecandy 4000
open up a new image 400 * 400 with a transparent background

set foreground colour to black
and the background colour to white


preset shapes: circle
Use this tool to make a circle.
use these settings, antialias and create as vector checked
line width 1
when the circle is done go to the object selector
when the tool bar pops up click node edit
Make a fish like image play around with the node
editing till you are satisfied :)
if u make your fish like i did u just go to image/rotate and rotate the picture 90 degrees to the right.


convert to raster layer
go to layer and duplicate layer
use the selection tool and select the fishshape.

Choose effects/eyecandy/waterdrops
Go to settings and choose inkspots.
Pick the colour you want your fish to have
and click the random seed till it looks like you want it.


Do not defloat just yet

Now to make the fins effect go to effects/geometric effects and chose spiky halo.



Now we are going to make the eye.
Set background colour to black.
Go to preset shape and make a circle where you want the eye.

Now deselect it.
Set background colour to white again.
Make another little circle in the eye. now that's done :)

Add a new raster layer.
use the drawing tool to draw the fish mouth and fins like so...


The fish is now done :)
Go to layers/merge/merge visible
Select the fish with the selection tool add a drop shadow if you want to.
these are the settings i use to drop shadow
effects/3d effects/drop shadow
offset:
vertical and horistontal 3
attributes:
opactity 72
blur 10

crop and save and you have your own fish :D
