For this tutorial you will need:

Psp

a fat font. I used a font called Impact.

& Filter factory N - Different Sin

Open up a new image 400*400 pixels with a transparent background.

Select your font and add your text with foreground colour
set to black and background colour set to #ea98c8.
Linewidth should be set to 2.

Set kearning to something around -270. The text size to 72.
Add the text, now select the selection tool. Set type to
rectangle and mode to replace.

Select all letters but the first one. Push down your left
mouse button and move the selected text to the left and down.
It should look something like this...



Now select all the letters but the two first and move them
to the left and either up or down depending on what you think
look the best. Continue doing this till you have moved all
your letters. You should now have something like this...



Now select your magic wand and set mode to add.
Select the white inside all of your letters.
Then go to effects/ plugins/ filter factory N/ different Sin.

Use these settings...



If you want to change the colour then play around with
the colour end values.

Deselect by pressing ctrl + d. Duplicate your layer
(layers/ duplicate). Then go to selections/ select all.
Back to selections/ Float. Then selections/ modify/ expand
and expand by 3.

Use your flood fill tool to flood fill your selection with white.
Deselect and move this layer down (layers/ arrange/ Move down.

Merge visible (layers/ merge/ merge visible).
Add a new raster layer (layers/ new raster layer).
Move this down and make sure you have it active
by clicking on it on the layer palette.

Select your paintbrush tool and set size to 40
and hardness to 26. Paint with the same pink colour as we
used in the beginning. You should have something like this.




Now go to Different sin and add with the same settings
as before. Then on the layer palette change the opacity on
the background layer to 50%.

Merge and crop and you are done !
