Tutorial written by Nemesis

For this tutorial you will need:
Psp 7 or 8
Tip! This looks even better if you use
flaming pear sbp instead of inner bevel:o)
and it works just as well with other shapes too.
Start with opening up a new image 400*300 with a transparent background.
select your text tool and pick a fat font. I used a font called Debussy
but pretty much any fat font will work.
Add text with this settings...
(use a colour of your choice)

Now go to effects/ 3d effects / inner bevel and add with these settings...

Now defloat by clicking ctrl + d.
Add a new raster layer ( layers/ new raster layer).
Select your preset shapes tool and select the heart shape.
Make sure you only got antialias ticked and that you have the
line width set to 1. Chose colours, I picked red for my hearts.
This means your settings should be something like this...

Draw a heart the size you want it. If you want more than one
then simply duplicate the one you got and them merge them when
you put them into place. Or draw another one on the same layer.
Ok this is what I got now.

go to selections/ select all. Then go to selections/ float.
Add this inner bevel to the hearts...

Then go to selections/modify/ expand and expand with 1.
Now click on the text layer on your layer palette.
Then press your keyboard delete button 3times.
Save as .jpg and you are done!
Example made with sbp and another shape.

I hope this gave you a few ideas of how you can spice
up an old font ;o)
happy psp.ing!
