Tutorial written by Nemesis

If you haven't quite learned how to master the curved text in psp 9
then this tutorial might be the right one just for you :o)

For this tutorial you will need:
Psp 9

These tubes...

Sheep
Violets
Signature font (freeware)
These tubes are made by me in poser.
©Info on a second layer. Use it, thank you @-}}--

***Install the tube and the fonts***

-If the settings aren't shown they are default settings.-

Pick up the tubetool and add the Sheeptube with the size 45%.

Add a new raster layer (layers/ new raster layer) then add the violets with the
scale 50%. Use the mover tool to move the tubes into position.
Go to layers/ merge / merge visible.

Duplicate your layer then go to adjust/ blur/ gaussian blur and add with a radius of 10.
Now go to effects/ texture effects/ softplastic and add with these settings...

Then go to effects/ distortion effects/ pixelate add with the block width = 15.
move this layer to the bottom (layers/ arrange/ send to bottom) You should now
have something like this...

Now select the preset shapes tool then select the circle.
Set the foreground colour to black and the background colour to null.
Make sure you got create as vector ticked and that the line width is set to at least 1.
Draw a circle like this...

Add a new raster layer. Pick up your text tool, set the colours to something
Matching the tube. I used Foreground : #93627a and Background: #d082a5.
Use these settings...

Now put you cursor on the top of the circle line. It's important that you
click when you see an A with a bow under it. Make sure you click in the middle
or your text will go to the side (seeing as the text in psp 9
has it's middle point where you click to add it if you tick the center alignment.)
Click as shown.

Now add the text you want. Deselect by pressing ctrl + d on your keyboard.
Activate the vector layer by clicking on it on the layer palette. Go to image/ flip.
Use the mover tool to move it back into position. Now select the text tool again.
Add a new raster layer. Now click on the circle again but this time at the bottom.
Add your text. Deselect. Delete they vector layer with the circle.
Right click on it on the layer palette and press delete.

If you want to add some kind of text effect to the text this is the time to do it. I left my plain :o)

Resize if needed and then add the ©info that comes with the tube.
Crop and save as .jpg and you are done !

I hope you had fun.
happy psp.ing!
