How to install masks in paint shop pro 7

There are two ways in which you can do this.
mostly depending on in what file format your mask
is saved in. If it is saved as .msk as most masks are
then you go to C:/ program files/ jasc / psp 7 / masks
and paste your mask into that folder.

If it is a .jpg then you will have to open the mask in psp
then go to masks/ new.../ from image and this box will pop up.

Now lets say I got a .jpg mask looking like this...

When I use this mask later I want the middle to be left
on my image so that it turns out like a circle.
Then I leave my settings like in the first picture.

But if I have a mask looking like this...

And I want the same results as in the above example where
my picture is turned into a circle then I need to tick convert mask data.

I hope this makes sense *smile*

When this is done you go to masks / save to disk and
save your mask as .msk and viola ! It's ready to use :o)

You can of course install masks that are already .msk files
this way too but I find that it is unnecessary.
