For this tutorial you will need:
Psp 7

A butterfly dingbat

And finally this font...
Bellbottom font

You can off course use any font, gradient or tube you'd like.

Now lets start :o)
open up an image size 400*400 pixels with a transparent background.
Find the orchid tube Set the scale to 50 and add it to the image.
Select the the preset shapes tool, make sure you have retain style
and create as vector ticked.
Now draw an elips like this...



Now add a new raster layer.
Select the text tool drag the mouse over the line of the
ellips till you get this tool
Then use the following settings...




Now find the gradient and fill the letters with it.



Now delete the raster layer.
Then go to effects/3d effects / inner bevel and add with the following settings.




Add a new raster layer.
Now use the text tool again and find the butterfly dingbat.
Pick a butterfly you like, flood fill it with the same gradient as
before and use the same inner bevel.
If you want add a drop shadow to it.
You should now have something similar to this...



Now go to layers / merge/ merge visible.
Then duplicate your layer. After that go to effects/ blur/ gaussian blur.
Set the radius to 15.
Now go to effects/ artistic effects/ enamel.
Use these settings ...



Now duplicate this layer.
Rearrange the layers to you got your picture layer on top and
the enameled ones at the bottom.
Go to layers/merge /merge flatten. Crop if necessary and then
save as .jpg and you are done :o)
