::How to add effects to your text::

The best way to learn about effects is simply to just play around with them
and see what you end up with :0)
I will start up a new image to work on.
You can if you want to continue on the one you got.

On my new picture I added text with a font called bellbottom and size 48.
This I did to make the effect I am going to add more visible.
Now to add effects to the text layer we need to select it click on the text.
then go to the left bar n pick the section tool (selection).



Click on the image once then press ctrl + a this will select the whole image.
Now click the picture again. You should now have the marching ants around the text.


Now we are going to start adding effects.

First we start by going to effects / 3d effects / inner bevel.



You might get this caution alert ...



Just tick always use this action and then press ok.
Since i added my text as a vector layer and it has to be a raster layer.
