I wrote this tutorial just for fun and
of course you can paint pretty much anything you'd like to :o)

For this tutorial you will need:
Psp 7 or 8

Open up a new canvas 500*500 pixels with a transparent background.
Select your Paintbrush and set the colour to black
then draw a black ground like so...
There's no need to be particularly careful or anything
just do it like you think it looks good !



When this is done Select a dark blue colour and fill
the transparent area like so...




Now lets do the sun start with drawing it in bright yellow then
with a lighter orange then a dark orange like this...



Then do some lines on the sky in the same orange and yellow tones.
Also add some purple lines like so...



Now select the retouch tool and set the settings to
shape: round
size: about 30 depending on what you want.
hardness and opacity to 100
step 1 and density 100
Also set it to soften.

Then soften the image like so...



now when still using the retouch tool change the
setting to smudge and smuge something like this...



When you are happy with the smudging then soften a bit if
you want to. Use the crop tool to crop it.

Then save as .Jpg and you are done !
