For this tutorial you will need:
Psp

Open up an image 250*250.
Set the styles to orange.


Now pic up the preset shapes tool
Make sure you have antialias and create as vector ticked. Line width = 1 and solid.
Now draw Circle as big as you want your pumpkin to be.
Now click the object selector .
This will bring a but called tool options up, on this you click node edit.
Now shape the circle using the nodes till it looks like a pumpkin.
It should look something like this...



When that's done go to layers/ convert to raster layer.
We can now delete the first layer since it is not in use.
Pick up the selection tool and select the pumpkin
(click the image once press ctrl + a then click the image again.)
Then go to effects/ 3d effects/ cutout.
Add cutout with these settings...



Deselct the image (ctrl+d). Then duplicate the pumpkin layer so you got 3 exact copies.



Highlight the copy of the copy then use the deformation tool
press the sides in, like this...



Then highlight the copy and do the same again, like this...



Now select the preset tool and make a little triangle.
Select it and flood fill it with brown. Add a cutout if you want.
Now move this layer to the bottom. Then use the mover tool to put it where you want it.
now go to layers/ merge/ merge visible. Save as .jpg and you are done :D
