Tutorial written by Nemesis



For this tutorial you will need:

Psp 7

Xenofex 1.0

Rorshack filters
Download here
Unzip in your plugin folder.
(freeware)
(note that this effect can be achieved by using
blinds too, then set width to 2, opacity to 75 and
do them horizontal. I'm lazy though and like plugins so
that explains that *smile* )

Install the font and the tube !!

If you want to use another tube then just use the dropper to select
the matching colours from that tube :o)

Open up a new image 500*500 pixels with a transparent background.
Select the picture tube tool and add your tube with 100% scale.
Add a new raster layers (layers / new raster layer).
Then select the preset shapes tool, set foreground colour to black and background to #6C0E0B
Make sure you only have antialias ticked. Now draw a rectangle 210*240.
Now go to effects/ plugins/ rorshak filters/ ripleyer and add with standard settings.
This is what you should have now...



Now use the selections tool and select the image. Set the background colour to black.
Then go to effects/plugins/ xenofex/ crumple add with the wax paper standard settings.
Then drag the opacity of the layer down to 75%.

Add a new raster layer.
Now set the foreground colour to #9E2B1D and the background to black, select the preset shapes tool
and set line witdh to 7. Then draw a rounded rectangle the size : 330*270
Now don't select it this time and then add the same crumple effect as earlier.
Move this layer to the bottom and drag the opacity down to 75%.

Add a new raster layer then select the preset shapes tool again and
set both background and foreground colour to black then set the line width to 5.
Draw the circles this size: 60*37 Duplicate this layer 3 times.
Hide the tube and the rectangle layer, then go to layers/merge/ merge visible.
Duplicate this layer. Unhide the other layers and move the rings till you have it like so.



Select and flood fill the top ring layer with this colour: #ECA330
Then add the ripleyer effect. Flood fill the bottom ring layer with #BF4C3E and add the same
effect again. Drag the opacity on the yellow rings to 50 and on the red to 95.

Add a new layer then select the draw tool set both style colours to black
and type to single line, the line style to #8 Dot and line witdh to 7.
then draw like this...



Duplicate this layer then go to image/ mirror , then use the mover tool to put the dots
into place. Add a new raster layer.

Now set the line width to 15 and just click where you want the dot.
Then go to effects/ geometric effects / wave use these settings...



Duplicate this layer and then mirror and move it into place.
Add a new layer and set line width to 3 and the foreground colour to #B12616
Now draw something like this...



Duplicate and mirror then move into place.

All we got left to do now is the name.
Add a new layer and then select the text tool.
Then use the following settings.



Now go to effects/3d effects/ cutout add with vertical and horizontal
both set to -1 then opacity set to 100 and blur to 6,1.
Then go to effects/ 3d effects / drop shadow add with vertical and horizontal
both set to 1, opacity 100 and blur 0,9. Set the shadow colour to #FFC451.
Then go to merge/ merge visible and then save as jpg.
Yippii! You're Finally done!
