For this tutorial you will need:
Psp 7
This Font
aardvark font
This tube:
Flower
**Install the font and the tube!**
Open up a new image 500*400 pixels with a transparent background.
Select the text tool and click the image. Add text with these settings...
Now go to effects/ 3d effects/ cutout add cut out with these settings...
Vertical: 2
Horizontal: 2
Opacity: 100
Blur: 10.4
Colour: #02B079
Now go back to the cutout and add again but set Vertical and Horizontal to -2
Deselect by pressing Ctrl + d
Add a new raster layer (layers/ new raster layer) Add the tube with the scale 26.
Then go to colours/ colourize set Hue to 109 and Saturation to 140.
Use the mover tool to move the flower into place. You should have something like this now...
Go to layers/ merge / merge visible. Then add a new raster layer.
Select your air brush tool and cover the text with paint, use the dark green
we used as stroke on the text. Now select the selection tool and set the selection type to circle.
Start at the very middle of the text and draw the circle upwards
so that it covers all the text you got and paint you got. like so...
Go to effects/ geometric effects/ twirl add with 720 degrees.
Now do this 4 more times until you got something looking like this...
Delect then press the deformation tool so that you got a box around your
twirl. Now grab the top node and push down until the circle is about half the
hight you started out with. Like so...
Press apply then move this layer to the bottom (layers/ arrange/ send to bottom)
Then use the mover tool to move the text into position. Then go to effects/
3d effects/ drop shadow and add with:
Vertical: -3
Horizontal: 1
Opacity: 20
Blur: 7.7
Colour: Black
Merge visible, crop and save as .jpg and you are done !
