For this tutorial you will need:

Any Version of PSP

Flaming Pear - India Ink

The font I used for the wisdom is called Vargas.
The other one is called Whisper.

A photo of your liking or you can download my photo here.

Open up an image 450*450 pixels with a transparent background.
Select your rectangle tool, set line width to 1. Set background colour to white
and foreground colour to black.

Draw a rectangle about the size : 290*210 pixels.
Set the line with to 4 and then add a new raster layer (layers/ new raster layer).
Then draw a box about the size 250*170, Use the mover tool to more the second box
into place. Then go to layers/ merge / merge visible.
You should now have something like this...



Use your magic wand and select the inner box.
Open up your photo right click on it and then click copy.
Now right click on your selected box, go to paste / paste into selection.
Then deselect by pressing crtl + d.

Add a new raster layer, Select your text tool.
Set foreground colour to null and then select a colour you like
from the photo as the background colour. I picked this colour: #fa886c
Add your text with the size 48, deselect. Use your mover tool to move the
text into place.

Add a new raster layer.
Change font to Vargas, set background colour to black.
Set font size to 8 and kearning to -268. Type in your wisdom and
deselect. Use the mover tool to move into place.
When u're happy with the looks of the text then go to
layers/ merge / merge visible.
You should now have something similar to this.



Go to layers/ duplicate. Then go to effects/ plugins/ flaming pear/ India Ink.
Add with these settings...



Lower the opacity on your India Ink layer to 70% on the layer palette.
Merge visible. Add ©info if needed and then crop, save as .jpg and you are done :o)
